In certain processes, catalytic converters in the chemical and petrochemical industry contain platinum and/or palladium. They are present in bulk and can be introduced into the recycling of noble metals without pre-treatment. Matters are different in the case of car exhaust catalytic converters; their significance and the problems in processing them were already recognised in 1985. The catalytic converter, supplied as a complete exhaust plant, is not so capable of recycling because of its high proportion of steel. The actual catalytic converter, a ceramic body coated with platinum, palladium and rhodium, can be released from its metal casing with the process that we have developed ourselves. Here, the possibility exists of removing the casing of the ceramic body for further use as a catalytic converter or to supply it to the recycling of noble metals. Noble metals are frequently subject to strong fluctuations in prices and the high values necessitate qualified advice, in order to exclude risks to a large extent. Uder use of the most efficient Refineries in Asia and the US we are among the market leaders in Europe and guarantee most transparent and fair treatment of your goods. Of course, you will also receive the necessary waste disposal documents for the catalytic converter listed under EWC 16 08 07 (in the form of a certificate of taking delivery or proof of disposal). This is an advantage from which you will also profit.
